Redskins Richmond camp on track

The Washington Redskins plan to open their first training camp at their new Richmond facility on July 25. And this week, representatives from the Washington Redskins, Bon Secours Virginia Health System, the city of Richmond, the Virginia governor’s office, construction and architectural firms, hosted a media hard hat tour to show off the camp's progress. An early morning shower in Richmond had media and VIP guests to the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center peeking skyward as they made their way to the facility for a Hard Hat Tour of its progress. However, by early afternoon the skies brightened and an overflow crowd made its way through the check-in line. Each attendee received a hardhat and facility map and headed up the stairs to hear opening remarks.
